MORNING CALLING - The finale of the eponymic 6-Track EP "Morning Calling". The morning never calls in thi song but did during the making of it. It's the story of a weird dream I had and a melody that wouldn't go out of m head unless I write it all down. At the time I finished, the sun greeted me through the window and I wrote down thet verse "I am going back to sleep now...". MORNING CALLING, a story told by insomnia.

Sat down on the table for breakfast
There was no bread left
Couldn’t make out where to get some
I stood up and drank my cold coffee
Didn’t feel too glossy
My heart beat like a steel drum

I went on and looked out of the window
Felt like a gringo
There were rocks and trees and birds and things
I saw a white owl staring at my face
And I lost my base
All I heard was the sound of my guitar strings

I am going back to sleep now
Don’t have anyone at home
Wouldn’t go back to dreamland
If I hadn’t had to go
Now I’m back in my bed
I’m back in my head
Into a place where thoughts can expand
I’m in my dreams in my own place
For my life in grace
Back into my winter wonderland
